Jan-Tee Charlote - aka Jan-Tee Music - was born in Cap-Haïtien,  a commune on the north coast of Haiti and capital of the Department of Nord., on November 11, 1981.   In a country where music is omnipresent in daily life, Jan-Tee Music soaked up practically every style of music a child could name, including Pop, R&B, Dance, Hip-Hop and much more.   He competed in his first talent show at the age of 12.

 

In high school,  the young singer spent most of his time in a marching band practicing popular Caribbean hits.   Jan-Tee Music  went on to develop a veritable passion for performing before large crowds, eventually forming his own group called One Touch.  The group released a demo album and took to the stage to open for various Haitian artists.

 

Jan-Tee Music began to make an increasing name for himself on the local music scene.  In 2015, he recorded Di Mwen.  His freshman album titled Refresh is due to hit the stores in the summer of 2017.
